This Is What Your Support Makes Possible
Every training session completed, every supply delivered, and every healthcare worker equipped represents a mother and newborn who had a better chance because someone chose to act.
What We Have Already Done

What We Are Working Toward
Every project BAWO runs is evaluated against BAWO foundation goals.
IMPROVE
Reduce maternal, fetal, and neonatal morbidity and mortality in every community we serve.
EDUCATE
Equip local healthcare providers — including midwives, birth attendants, physicians, community health workers, and traditional birthing attendants — with current, evidence-based clinical knowledge. INTRODUCE
INTRODUCE
Establish and reinforce evidence-based management protocols for the most common and most dangerous birthing complications.
PROVIDE
Deliver the supplies, equipment, and resources needed to put clinical education into immediate practice.
EMPOWER
Develop community healthcare workers into lifelong learners and advocates — so that the impact of every program outlasts the program itself.
When healthcare workers are trained and communities are equipped, mothers and newborns thrive. That is what BAWO exists to make possible — in every community we serve, one initiative at a time.
